Mystères du Château de Dé
Category Is: Drugstore Chypre.
It's moderately charming and odd, and not too strong or cloying, to its own benefit. Perhaps a cousin to Animale Animale. I suppose it is worth 12 bucks as a curiosity piece. The aldehyde pops more on paper and clothes, but it smells better on skin.

Classic Chypre fragrance... It opens very green and bright, then dries down into a warm herbacious, woody fragrance, with a little bit of mystery in the air to it. For a chypre, it is quite good... Chypre fragrances are a bit challenging for me, so I am trying to learn to appreciate them more. But memories attached to chypre scents make this difficult. I got very easily car sick when I was a child, and my grandma wore the HELL out of chypre fragrances. She used to take us on long road trips through the mountains where I would get soooooo sick in the car... So I associate the chypre smell with that motion sickness feeling....
That aside, it is a nice fragrance, and I am slowly being able to really enjoy it.

Heatwave now in June 2023 and been wearing this lovely perfume since friday and all weekend gorgeous chypre floral great for use during heatwave. 9.6 - 11.6. 2023. Bottle is very pretty too. The fragrance reminds me of a perfume worn by a lady from Lebanon in the 1960s when visiting her shop.

Mneh.
I read the reviews and blind bought this. People compare this with Diva, Dior,, saying it's in the Canel 5 area. Sorry, but these perfumes are from another universe than Safina
Safina is a mossy..bittherish...adelhideish..some sort of messy diluted scent. Sorry but there's a reason why it's scored so low on fragrantica. It has none of the complexity of a Dior or Estee. It's badly blended, it'a a shy cheap scent that might have a remote Cabochard vibe, but it's nothing clear, or well made, or elegant or.. anything. I don't really smell any flowers, it's blunt, linear, not at all sweet, it smells very very cheap. It smells more like my CIF surface cleaner than like a perfume. If you deeply inspire Safina, it' s the same chimical, citrusy bitter scent. The floral might be done better in CIF though.

This could be a vintage Estee Lauder or Dior. Safina is retro green as Private Collection, Aliage or Dioressence, though Safina apart from mossy greenes posseses some yellow floral and ripe fruity aspects, which compared to EL, makes it more versatile and wearable.

I like this so much, it's such a weirdly attractive scent I can't stop smelling. It smells alcoholical to me. Like booze. The soapiness is gorgeous. I would classify this as unisex. So sharp, juicy and balsamic.
Reminds me of my grandpa just a tad bit, lots of very old, vintage vibes. It also reminds me of the bath scene in Barbie and the Pauper for no apparent reason.
It does kinda have a synthetic citrus vibe, like cleaning product citrus and candy citrus... which you'd think I'd hate but in this case I actually like! I just feel like it belongs and works so well in this blend! It's a very comforting and cute citrus. Makes me happy lmao.
I can definitely see how this would unease some people or cause migraines. Use/buy with caution.

If you’re not yet into chypre scents, but you’re curious and like that kind of sweet sizzling fruit scents then check this out. This is a mood uplifting, bright sitrus-soda whit some oakmoss and that's that.
Don't scare the beaver or think Cabochard, there is nothing animalic, dirty, offensive or ashtrays at all.
This is very happy chypre, just try it.

Safina Flower-aldehyde Parfum A mild, aldehyde-based odor in which the aldehydes form an illusion of pure oxygen add a rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang glow and strengthen it by adding charm. Aldehyde ozone effect resembles the aroma of saturated air of the eastern garden, creating us the elegance and the influx of luxury. The whole is a balsamic-powdery subtle beauty essence that takes us on a journey to the eastern love gardens. Go on a journey and be delighted with beauty and yourself. P.S many compliments, the smell is long held. Perfect!

Hi. Delicatessen, balsamic, elegant oriental fragrance that is intriguing, safe for any season, useful from spring to autumn. A typical Unisex for men and women, on parfumo.net the scent is assigned as unisex. I agree to a typical unisex, fragrantica should correct the entry. Smell does not suffocate, for devotees of aldehydes. Safe and nice bottle. Another pearl from Rasasi.

I am not happy to talk about perfumes in this manner but this thing is just so bad! Repelling, offensive, not safe for people with breathing problems, very cheap and bad smelling I hate it!

although i love many of Rasasi fragrances , this one smells very bad , it smells actually like a room spray. Very disappointed .
